"Interconnected Ripples" Amy Tuso, Fountain Hills, AZ

36" x 36" x 1.5" Oil
Photography does not capture the layers of dimension on this blue oil on top of blue oil abstract painting. This was inspired by a walk around the lake one morning. I noticed how the ripples caused by bugs and ducks all merged together and became one. It reminded me that every action we take has multiple reactions as we are all connected.
If you are interested in purchasing this calming abstract which is gallery wrapped and ready to hang, please visit my website here.

"HooDoo" ~ Amy Tuso ~ Daily Abstract Painter ~ Fountain Hills, AZ

HooDoo 30" x 10"

While riding through the desert southwest and into beautiful Colorado I've observed many variations of HooDoo's and they remind me of the sandcastles that I once built along the shore line as a child.

This abstract variation of a HooDoo is a combination of a texture medium that I sculpted into the individual segments of the HooDoo and a blending of vibrant tones as if the sun was setting them ablaze.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas Embellished With A Heavy Texture Compound, Blended Acrylics And A Line Of Gold

This is one of my favorite paintings and I really like the way the textures work with the blending of the many colors I used.

"Soul's Journey" ~ Amy Tuso, Fountain Hills, AZ Daily Abstract Painter

Souls' Journey
30"x 30" x 1.5" Oil
This painting is done on a gallery wrapped canvas with artwork continuing on all sides. If you are interested in purchasing "Souls' Journey" please click here to enter my website.
As age takes hold of our human being our soul travels through many stages. This painting is representative of the necessary decision making within the human process. The woman is in a haze and perhaps unsure of where to go next. However, she has a peaceful subtle expression on her face and about her being. I have also subtly highlighted a few of her chakras - the crown of her head, her throat, her heart, and solar plexis. (Unfortunately this does not pick up in the photo and would need to be viewed in person or with magnification.)

"Souls' Journey" ~ work in progress by Arizona Abstract Artist, Amy Tuso

~work in progress~ part 2

This is another element to my work in progress "Souls' Journey" and represents the human aspect of the souls' transition through life. The female figure is covered by a fine vail of mist, but yet the expression on her face is one of innocence and peace.

I hope to have the final image up in my post tomorrow.

"Souls Journey" ~ work in progress by Arizona Abstract Artist, Amy Tuso

WORK IN PROGRESS

I am in the habit of walking very early in the day. During the beginning of my walks I offer a prayer of gratitude to Great Mystery and God. The remainder of my walk of gratitude is devoted to observing. Observing the beauty that surrounds me. Observing the wind and bird song. Observing the ripples the geese, ducks and water bugs create on the lake. Observing the quiet answers and guidance that comes from spirit. It was near the end of one recent walk that I had this image in my mind of a "Souls' Journey".

This is a work in progress that I will post for the next few days until completed. I hope you enjoy walking this walk with me.

"Perfect Promise" ~ Amy Tuso ~ Daily Abstract Painter ~ Fountain Hills, Arizona

12" x 12" x 1.5"

Gallery wrapped canvas, acrylic background with vibrant oils

"Prefect Promise" is one of my favorite paintings and inspired my larger 36" x 36" x 1.5" oil on oil painting entitled "Mosiac Nautilus".

The nautilus is an amazing creature which is capable of self-sufficiency, growth within and without, strength as well as insite of knowing when to move forward closing off useless spaces. I relate these experiences to our own human growth. We all need to honor ourselves with our own God blessed self-sufficiency, strength and growth and with the help of God moving forward within our souls so when the time has come we are capable of moving beyond our human shells just as the nautilus releases itself from its shell and float away.

"Wait For Me" ~ Amy Tuso ~ Daily Abstract Painter, Fountain Hills, Arizona

8" x 8" Canvas Panel
This highly texturized, acrylic painting has been imprinted with the shape of 3 lizards scurring about their daily activities. Living in the Sonoran Desert it is very common to see lizards lazing in the sun and as they become aware that they are not alone they quickly scurry off to hidden places.

"Shades" by Arizona Abstract Painter ~ Amy Tuso

8" x 8" canvas panel
Have you ever noticed that there are multiple levels, dimensions and reality within any given situation depending on your prospective? "Shades" of reality compromise every moment and every day of our life allowing us the ability to create our desired attitude within ourselves.
This calming 8" x 8" canvas panel has been worked with texture, acrylic and multiple colors to create a chaming piece to be displayed on a small easel or within a small frame and would work very well in an office space as a focus point of calming when needed.
