"Here Comes The Sun" ~ Amy Tuso ~ Arizona Daily Abstract Painter

8" x 10" gallery wrapped canvas
I live in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains and from my bed I see the sun peek up over the mountains declaring another good morning each day!
This small gallery-wrapped, acrylic, highly-textured and carved painting is what it looked like a few mornings ago at approximately 4:45 AM.

"Healing Fields" Amy Tuso, Arizona Abstract Daily Artist

16" x 20" oil on gallery wrapped floating canvas
As Spiritual Beings in human bodies we all are going through daily healing. Some of us recognize the ongoing process while others are not still enough within their own souls to see, hear or feel this healing occuring.
This painting was concieved with healing in focus and progressed with the surprise ending of the lovely hummingbird emerging with its vibration of pure joy.
Let love, joy, peace and the beauty of this moment heal your soul.

Mosiac Nautilus ~ Arizona Abstract Artist, Amy Tuso

36"x36"x1.5" Vibriant Oils Floating on Black Oil
The Nautilus is an amazing creature and directly speaks of survival and moving through the living process. As the creature within this devine shell grows ,it closes off the smaller chamber that it was living in and creates a larger chamber which is capable of substaning its living process. This pattern continues on until the day comes that the time of earth has come to an end and the creature releases its earthly shell and moves onto life hereafter. An evolutionary process carried out through self-sufficiency.
Mosiac Nautilus is a part of my Mosiac Series, which you can learn more about by clicking here.

"Friends" ~ Amy Tuso ~ Daily Abstract Painter

10" x 8" Gallery Wrapped
A friend asked that I create a painting for her and told me it must have fushia and lime green in it. "Uhm", I thought..."not my usual colors." But I discovered that the "push" and "pull" between friends brought about a wonderful result!
Isn't that what friendship is...supporting, pushing to learn, pulling in resistance and if we are truly lucky, growing stronger through each other.

Although this piece is spoken for, I am available to create whatever your vision is mixed with a little of my own :}

"Mosiac I" Amy Tuso Arizona Daily Painter

36" x 36" x 1.5" Oils
This painting was worked on daily for a few months from inception to completion as layer upon layer of oil went into each piece. One needs time to look at this intricate work to discover all that there is to see from the tiny pebbles to the larger fossils and natilus' that reside within this mosiacscape.
To me it represents many things but the main representation is that we are all made up of many layers and we need to take time to discover the trueness of each other.
I have done a complete series of mosiac pieces that can be viewed on my website.

"Fossils & Shells" by Daily Abstract Artist, Amy Tuso

8" x 6" picture-frame ready canvas
This small metallic canvas has been worked with a texturizing medium and "fossils" have been imprinted along with "shells" rolled into the canvas prior to the acrylics worked into it creating a multi-dimensional abstract piece that would look great in a small metal frame which would offset it all beautifully.
As one of my daily abstract paintings the price is attractively small.

"Thru Her Eyes" Heavily Textured 40" x 30" x1.5" Acrylic by Amy Tuso

40" x 30" x 1.5"
I look out of my balcony and see beautiful mountains. They inspired me to attempt to capture them as the sun rises and sets creating magnificent colors and textures. I laid down and carved into a heavy medium creating the peaks, valleys and rough land of the mountains prior to applying various brilliant acrylics for this piece.

"Copper Haze" Abstract Oil Painting by Arizona Daily Painter, Amy Tuso

12" x 16" x 1.5" Oil Abstract
There are times when I just let my paints and brushes take over..."Copper Haze" was one of those freely moving works! I love the resulting painting that is calming in its coloration variations with the circling addition of the metallic copper. This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas and I continued the artwork on all sides making it ready to hang as is if so desired.

"Peace" by Arizona Daily Abstract Painter, Amy Tuso

This artwork is available on my website www.amytuso.com
"Peace" is an abstract done in oil on a 10"x 20"x 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas with the artwork continuing on all sides invoking all to seek peace within themselves and within our world. The vibrant colors of this multi-hued oil are not captured perfectly through the camera lens. The brush work that this painting has provokes movement when viewed in person.

"Moving Towards The Future" by Daily Painter of Abstracts, Amy Tuso

To view more of my artwork click here.
"Moving Towards The Future" is a delightful 8"x6" contemporary abstract done on canvas which is lightly textured and worked with many acrylic colors including metallic copper applied with my fingers.

We tend to focus on the future and allow it to overshadow our present moment. In order for us to be grounded and lead a balanced life within ourselves, we must bring ourselves back to the center of this moment in time. Moment by moment lived brings us towards our future freely.

"Hunk Of Burning Love" by Amy Tuso, Contemporary Daily Abstract Painter from Arizona

While I was creating this fun little, 6"x8" textured canvas, Elvis was singing in my mind..."hunka, hunka, burning love..." and so I named it just that "Hunk Of Burning Love"! I used a heavy texture compound and a fiery color combination in expressing my image of heartfelt passion. All that is missing is a small frame and your tabletop.

To view more of my passion, please visit http://www.amytuso.com/ and explore my website. I have included a gallery exclusively for my Daily Abstract paintings and have a larger Gallery of Abstracts for your viewing pleasure. Grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy.

"Around The Bend" by Landscape Abstract Daily Painter, Amy Tuso

Around The Bend 20"x30"x1.5"
This beautiful painting is done on a gallery wrapped canvas with the landscape continuing on all sides. I layed down a thick compound on the canvas for texture prior to laying down the various acrylic paints. I find it very easy to let my eyes follow the flow of the reflective water Around The Bend.

"European Glass" by Amy Tuso, Arizona Daily Abstract Painter

This small, highly texturized, acrylic painting has copper running through it and presents a larger presence that its' 8"x10"x.75" size. I think it would look great anywhere but it would be really fun in an office cubicle bringing joyful smiles with the flowing colors.

"Copper Lined Glow" by Arizona Daily Abstract Painter, Amy Tuso

"Copper Lined Glow" is a 30x40x1.5" gallery wrapped oil painting with a mix of copper metallic paint running through the darkened line. The painting continues onto all sides of the painting and no frame is needed to showcase this on your wall. Photography does not do this painting justice (as in a lot of abstract work!). The brush strokes are bold and yet subtle at the same time.
It was not until I moved to "The Copper State" (as Arizona is called) that I really noticed all of the metallic minerals that are readily noticeable in the stones, rocks and soil when one looks deeper than the surface. This painting was inspired by that and reminds us all to look beyond the surface.

"Brilliant Cloud Formation IV" by Amy Tuso, Daily Abstract Painter in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona

This 24x24x1.5" gallery wrapped, oil painting represents the last cloud formation breaking away from the other clouds. It has brilliant, rich colors and tones. The brush strokes invoke movement and dimension. This painting stands alone or works beautifully within "The Brilliant Cloud Formation" series and is the last piece of this series. In veiwing the painting I can see a human figure releasing it's hold from the other clouds as it drifts on its way. I am so blessed to view the wonderfully painted Sonoran Desert with the rising and setting of the sun. Each day brings God's paint box into view.
