"Copper Lined Glow" is a 30x40x1.5" gallery wrapped oil painting with a mix of copper metallic paint running through the darkened line. The painting continues onto all sides of the painting and no frame is needed to showcase this on your wall. Photography does not do this painting justice (as in a lot of abstract work!). The brush strokes are bold and yet subtle at the same time.It was not until I moved to "The Copper State" (as Arizona is called) that I really noticed all of the metallic minerals that are readily noticeable in the stones, rocks and soil when one looks deeper than the surface. This painting was inspired by that and reminds us all to look beyond the surface.
